Fruit and vegetable store

Today I took a client there for shopping and as she is old and frail her knee’s started buckling and as I was helping her to keep hold of the trolley that was going towards a checkout that was closed ! The rude checkout girl said this is closed and I said I know . But not at all for a few minutes did she even bother to ask us if we needed help ! So lucky a young man jake helped take her outside to sit and eventually the girl got someone to serve me at that checkout . I just want her to know that one day young lady you will be old and may need help and today you were not helpful ( except for opening that check out) . So many helpful people today but she was not one of them .

Friendly staff. Bought two 2 Litre bottles of fresh milk with long use by dates. Put them straight into the Engel to drive home. Both had gone off when I opened later that same day. This would sadly most likely be a transport issue before items arrived in Lake Grace. It is great to have a large supermarket such as IGA in a rural community.

IGA has come a long way in the last couple of years making precooked meals like roast pork, beef and lamb, they also have vegie meals and rolls.

Regular IGA in a regional area very expensive with very limited variety. Fresh produce is prohibitively expensive and a lot of time of bad quality no wonder why people in these areas have poor health because they have to resort to the preserved and manufactured foods full of fat and sugar.

Staff prefer to talk than serve and are rude

Bought a potato, bacon and egg salad and it had one small little slice of egg and the rest was potato and spring onion with a small amount of bacon. Apart from that, It was ok. I’ve had better. Pretty dear for a mediocre salad
